Dr. Joaquin T. Ariza Olaya

Doctor Joaquín Tiberio Ariza Olaya is a dentist graduated from the Colombian Dental College (1987), specializing in Orthodontics and Maxillary Orthopedics at the New Granada Military University, UniCIEO (1994).

He has completed diploma studies in Orthodontics such as Orofacial Pain and TMJ Dysfunction (Mexican Interdisciplinary Association of Orofacial Pain) and Swing Philosophy (UniCIEO Bogotá). Training in Meaw Philosophy (Kanagawa Dental University, Japan) and Certifications in Research Ethics (CITI Program University of Miami), MBT Orthodontic Systems (3M, Bogotá) and Invisalign, among others.

He has been a professor of orthodontics at the Nueva Granada Military University and at the Colombian Dental College. He is currently an assistant postgraduate researcher at the UniCIEO University Foundation (Bogotá, Colombia) and visiting postgraduate professor at the Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia). He was a member of the national board of directors of the Colombian Society of Orthodontics SCO for more than six years, Academic Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Society of Orthodontics during the period 2017-2018, appointed honorary member of the Colombian Odontological Federation FCO with international memberships of the AAO, WFO, EOS and is currently the Scientific Director of the Flow Jac System Study and Research Group.

Dr. Ariza has been invited as an international speaker to share his knowledge and advances in the technique in different universities and academic events in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States, Malta and Mexico and to date, more than 500 Orthodontists from 13 countries have been trained in his philosophy. The Minimally Invasive Orthodontic System with Mini Tubes Flow Jac System, created and developed by Dr. Ariza, has patents granted in the US (2) and Colombia (2), World PCT and patents pending in Europe and Asia.
